Hi Folks,

We had a few inquiries (in early May 2010), about Course Schedules being available on the website in a format that didn’t require going through the Calendar.

Well, never let it be said that we don’t listen …well ok, sometimes the background noise wins, but we do our best…and this is one of those occasions when we did and responded like lightning .

Please Note: This service does not replace our standard practice of emailing and mailing Course Schedules.

Making such documents available for download and ensuring their accuracy over time, is dangerous at best because they change often (remember the ‘F’ word? Flexibility ), and there is usually a delay uploading updates. Emailing and Mailing updates out to our Learners is more reliable, and is what we have been doing to date and will continue to do. This is kind of a test-drive to see how it goes. All we can do at this stage is our best and ask you to check with your Trainer and/or contact Train4Life (use the ‘Contact’ tab at the lower-right), if you are uncertain.

Workshops

These are delivered as single Classes and/or Units of the Courses listed in Course Schedules above. As they are single Classes they don’t have Schedules like the Courses above. Each Workshop will be linked to it’s relevant details (e.g. When, Where, How much etc), on the Train4Life website.

Upon completion of Workshops you will usually receive a Statement of Attainment for a full Unit of Competency toward a Nationally Recognised Qualification (e.g. the above Certificate and Diploma Courses).

Dementia – This Workshop is a Unit from the Certificate IV Aged Care qualification, CHCAC416A so you will receive a Statement of Attainment for a full Unit of Competency. For Course Details see our article ‘Dementia goes Nuts…’. Update – July 15 2010 – We have organized  a heap more Dementia Workshops. Details soon.

Update – July 15 2010 – Coming Soon! You asked we deliver . Due to popular demand we’ve also organised some excellent Challenging Behaviour Workshops and some Speciality Workshops (to be announced).  We’ll post the details here as we get them.
